Meet the Doctors & Staff

Dr. Vicki Danis

Dr. Danis grew up on the Westside of Indianapolis, graduating from Ben Davis High School. She attended the University of Southern Indiana for undergraduate studies in chemistry. She then moved to the St. Louis area to attend Logan Chiropractic College. During her tenure at Logan, Dr. Danis served as her class secretary, was active in her professional sorority, volunteered at the local humane society, and interned at the local VA hospital.

Before becoming a mom in 2007, Dr. Danis worked with her mentoring chiropractor in Indianapolis. She is married to Mike and has two daughters, Annabelle and Molly. They reside in Pittsboro, IN. During her first pregnancy, Dr. Danis became increasingly aware of the importance of chiropractic care during pregnancy. Her hope is that every woman would seek prenatal and postnatal chiropractic care for herself, new baby, and family.

She is currently one of two chiropractors in Hendricks County to hold an obstetric certification in chiropractic. She is Webster technique certified. Also, she is continuing her education in the treatment of children by obtaining a certification in pediatrics.

Dr. Traci Minear

Dr. Traci is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She attended Indiana University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2007. She then went on to attend chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota and graduated in 2010. She has an interest in woman and childrens’ chiropractic care and she is currently working towards her certificate in chiropractic pediatrics. Dr. Traci is the other chiropractor to hold an obstetric certification in chiropractic care. She is also Webster technique certified.

Massage Therapist

Karen Kite, LMT,  is a wonderful asset to Community Chiropractic.  She is a native Hoosier and is a mom to two teenage daughters.  Karen graduated from Professional Career Institute (now Kaplan) in Indianapolis and has been practicing massage for over six years.  Massage therapy is great at helping to relieve stress, decrease muscle tension and increase the speed of healing and recovery.  Karen performs Swedish, Deep Tissue Massage, and Specific therapy, which will help to heal an injury or relieve pain.  Hot Stone Massage involves a specific placement of heated stones to assist in muscle relaxation and are used during the massage itself. Karen is certified in Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular Therapy.

Karen also does Prenatal Swedish Massage.  During pregnancy, your body will go through profound changes, beginning with increased weight and changing posture.  Your center of gravity shifts, causing a number of musculoskeletal changes.  Increased breast size and the softening of connective tissue creates neck, shoulder, and back pain.  A prenatal massage can help relieve discomfort caused from the physical stress of carrying your growing baby.
